Mientras que en un eje cartesiano da respuesta mecánica a lo funcional, en el otro, da respuesta a lo fenomenológico. Es una membrana que se materializa y desmaterializa según el momento del día; de acuerdo a cómo la luz interactúa con sus tejidos permitiéndole mimetizarse con el entorno, o capturar la luz en sus fibras.

El objeto está compuesto por un bastidor neutro que interactúa con diferentes tipos de textiles.

While on one Cartesian axis it gives a functional-mechanical response, in the other direction it gives a phenomenological response . Minka is a membrane that is materialized and dematerialized by time of day. According to how light interacts with tissues it blends with the environment, capturing light in its fibers.

The object consists of a neutral frame that interacts with different types of textiles.

COLABORACION

Considerando como fundamental mantenerse fiel a la esencia de cada material es que surge:

"Minka" (en quechua, «trabajo colectivo hecho en favor de la comunidad» ) como un proyecto que consiste en promover la artesanía y técnica local en todo el país.

El soporte de hierro es un telar donde los pequeños productores desarrollan sus conocimientos, creando, de esta manera, diferentes objetos en cada instancia. Cada MINKA es una nueva calidad espacial, cada vez un nuevo producto.

En este prototipo se utilizó fieltro fabricado con lana merino del sur del país, yute y seda de comunidades del norte.

PARTNERSHIP

Considering how important staying true to the essence of each material is, we chose the name "Minka" (in Quechua, "Collective work done for the community") as a project to promote local technical craftsmanship and throughout the country.

The objects structure is a canvas where every small producer can adjust his knowledge, creating multiple and different objects in each instance.

Each MINKA is a new spatial quality, every time a new product.

This prototype has been made with merino-wool-felt from the Patagonia, jute and silk of the northern communities.
